The Australian Caravan Club is delighted to welcome the Scouts Queensland facility at Baden Powell Park at Samford, Queensland to its member benefits programme.
At Samford Village you will find heritage buildings, a history museum, gourmet cafes, a century old pub, old-fashioned Saturday country market, and a quaint slab hut with local arts and crafts. Walkers and cyclists can take the time to check out the paved Ferny Grove Rail Trail, a 1.8 kilometre track that used to connect the Samford Valley Foothills to Ferny Grove and learn about its history.
Scouts Queensland is offering ACC members wishing to stay at Baden Powell Park a 15% discount per night on their stay. Both powered and unpowered sites are available. Pending construction of a camp kitchen, an enclosed room is temporarily available for group dinners and meetings free of charge but arrangements must be made at the time of booking.
Pets are permitted but as Baden Powell Park is home to unique and endangered fauna, dogs must be tethered or leashed at all times – see our member benefits – accommodation listing which you will find by clicking on the green button on this webpage, for terms and conditions relating to pets and for further information.
