One of Victoria’s premier event venues, Elmore Events Centre at Elmore, will be the venue for the 2018 Chairman’s Muster of the Australian Caravan Club (ACC) next year, ACC Chairman Craig Humphrey announced yesterday.

The Chairman’s Muster will be held over 5 days from 8 to 13 March 2018.

“The two Chairman’s Musters that I hosted at Kingaroy in Queensland and Peak Hill in New South Wales this year proved highly successful,” said Mr Humphrey.  “I’m really looking forward to travelling down to Elmore to meet and engage with members in the way that our Chairman’s musters provide.”

“Chairman’s Musters are far less formal than our National Musters and provide a relaxed atmosphere where I have received some great feedback from Club members.”

“Much of the feedback from Chairman’s Musters form part of our Club’s policies today.”

“I am currently working with a representative from the City of Greater Bendigo to put together what I know will be an exciting programme full of sight-seeing and other activities.”

Elmore is located on the Campaspe River midway between Bendigo, Echuca and Shepparton.  Nearby Bendigo boasts many attractions including Bendigo Pottery, a talking tram, a Chinese Museum and an Art Gallery.

“I encourage all members, not just our Victorian members, to make their way to Elmore and come along for what is promising to be an exciting event,” Mr Humphrey said.

Mr Humphrey also announced that it is proposed to stage the 2019 Chairman’s Muster in South Australia.
