The river town of Murray Bridge in South Australia will be the venue for our Club’s 2019 Chairman’s Muster in March next year, Chairman Craig announced Friday.
The announcement was made by Craig to ACC members at the Chairman’s Muster currently underway at Elmore in Victoria with 150 members in 75 RV units in attendance.
“South Australia members first mooted the idea of a Chairman’s muster in their State to me last year,” Craig said. “I asked them to put forward a town and venue. They came back with Murray Bridge.”
Murray Bridge has a number of attractions that will ensure members who choose to journey to the region will have plenty to see and do.
There’s wineries, chocolate shops, antiques, Op shops, giftware, Old Tailem Town Pioneer Village, The Round House with spectacular river and bridge views, Monarto Zoo and members can cruise the Murray River on a paddleboat if they choose.
“It’s all only in the early stages of planning and more information will be provided to members as it becomes available,” said Craig.
A number of sites have been reserved from 13 to 20 March 2019 at the Murray Bridge Marina Camping and Caravan Park.
“Our Club now has three major events in its upcoming calendar
- Our 2018 National Muster at Denmark in Western Australia from 14 to 21 October 2018;
- Our 2019 Chairman’s Muster at Murray Bridge in South Australia from 13 to 20 March 2019; and
- Our 2019 National Muster at Warrnambool in Victoria from 14 to 20 October 2019.”
“Your board and I were anxious to make sure Club members are aware of these important major event dates so that our members on the road can look at planning their travels for this and next year,” Craig said.
