With registrations now open it is time to explore more of what there is to see in and around Mudgee.
While Mudgee is known as a wine region there is more than wine to attract visitors. The organizing committee has included some of the best providores in the region to visit.

High Valley Cheese has a long story of agriculture from a farming background, cropping and wine production they have made the transition to cheese making, loving the artistry of making cheese by hand. They love sharing their skills and their products with everyone. While using traditions established over thousands of years using their hands to develop an individual feel for the product. The milk is sourced from the local community. Little Big Dairy Co, a family run dairy in Dubbo NSW is a key supplier. The milk is in the paddock on Sunday and is in the cheese by Monday afternoon. The boutique factory is on the outskirts of Mudgee and is powered by renewable energy, employing locals who share the passion for cheese making. |

Spencer Cocoa

First lets tell the story of Spencer Cocoa. It started in 2006 when Luke took a break from the corporate world and ended up in the Solomon Islands teaching English and agriculture at a college on the Island of Malaita. A few years later an opportunity to live & work in the Pacific Island culture came as part of a contract managing a large commercial cocoa plantation in Vanuatu. After 2 years working and living on the island of Malekula, Luke retuned to Australia with a dream of making his own chocolate from this extraordinary tree crop. After much work and clever engineering, Spencer Cocoa officially produced it’s first Vanuatu origin bars in 2013. Come and try the Spencer Cocoa. |
