This is an extension of the Trekkers Goondiwindi Muster to be held at Goondiwindi Showground from Wednesday 30" Sept to Tuesday 6"' October. Tours and details to follow.
Sunday 4" Oct.... Depart Goondiwindi Showgrounds for Dirranbandi (230 ks. Via Thalwood and Thallon)
Possible stopover at Nindigully Pub for lunch (160ks)
Night at Dirranbandi Retreat Van Park ($35/night power and water)
Monday 5" Oct...Dirranbandi....
Bus tour of Cubbie Station, 3.5 hours, $60 each, smoko provided.
Nicky at van park will do pizzas or soup and damper for dinner around the fire pit.(for a minimum charge)
Tuesday 6th Oct....Depart Dirran. for Lightning Ridge(140ks)
Book into Lorne Station Van Park (6 ks from town) $30/night for power and good bore water!!
Wednesday 7" Oct...Lightning Ridge..
Possible day trip to Grawin/Glengarry Opal Field. This settlement is about 70ks West of the Ridge. Lunch at Pub in the Scrub. Should be an interesting day.
Share transport or maybe by bus if it can be arranged.
Thursday 8' Oct...Lightning Ridge.
Free day to explore the Ridge. Many options here.
Friday 9*h Oct....Drive to Coonabarabran (306ks) and book into 1 of the 2 van parks. ($37/night with power and water)
Saturday 10" Oct..Coonabarabran
Free day to explore the area, options are, Siding Springs Observatory or the Warrumbungles National Park etc
Sunday 11" Oct... Drive to Mudgee (191ks) for ACC National Muster
