Come and meet our new Administrator Kaye along with our local Lone Trekkers ( although Lone Trekkers from far and wide are welcome - Covid restrictions willing)
Activities
On Friday simply arrive before happy hour to meet like minded trekkers and settle in. As we will be having a BBQ on Saturday, we suggest you visit the local Kilkivan butcher on the way to the campsite. He is well known for outstanding goods in the area. Non meat eaters are also locally catered for
On Saturday you have three choices
- Join the Group for the 10.00 am Mary Valley Rattler returning to Gympie around 1.00pm. Cost is $62 or $56 Concession.
- Wander through the old Kilkivan Copper Smelter - a free self guided walk. Perhaps followed my morning tea or lunch in a local cafe - help the local economy!
- Relax and enjoy the amenities at the campsite including a swimming pool
Later on Saturday afternoon we will have a few games organised followed by Happy Hour drinks
and then the BBQ mentioned earlier. BYO everything.
On Sunday we can visit the nearby Murgon Dairy and Heritage Museum including morning tea at a nominal cost
This afternoon we will amuse ourselves with further games.
On Monday, leave at leisure.
